Tammy Tiller-Hewitt, FACHE is the Chief Executive Officer at Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. She is a nationally recognized physician relations and retention consultant, keynote speaker, and writer. She is known for her dynamic, educational and high-energy presentation style. Her programs are rich with real-life case material to enhance and enjoy learning.
Tammy draws on more than 25 years of healthcare management experience. Her work with both the health system and the physician practice side of healthcare give her a unique perspective on the complexities facing today’s healthcare professionals. Prior to starting Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies, Tiller-Hewitt spent 20 years with BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, Missouri.
Tammy holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Maryville University, St. Louis, MO, a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, TX, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.
She is also a member of The John Maxwell Team, a group of Maxwell certified coaches, trainers, speakers and professionals, Tammy offers workshops, seminars, keynote speaking and coaching to aid in personal and professional growth.
Thomas Tiller II
Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies, Tommy Tiller serves on the leadership team, providing policy direction and operational oversight for the company. He ensures that Tiller-Hewitt effectively accomplishes its mission in collaborating with hospitals and physicians to build and cultivate relationships for strategic growth. Tommy oversees the development and implementation of the Physician Hospital Relations (PHR) and Sales Programs. These programs strategically increase service line and specialty referrals through direct sales calls on physicians and other referral sources. Additionally, Mr. Tiller is responsible for business development.
Prior to being named COO, Tommy was Director of Business Development at Tiller-Hewitt. His previous experience includes serving as controller for an environmental consulting firm, where he oversaw the financial operations, including million in sale and rental inventory. Additionally, he was responsible for the company’s administration and accounting departments.
Tommy is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a BS in Finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is an MBA candidate at the university. He is a member of the SIUE Alumni Association. Mr. Tiller is active in St. Louis Habitat for Humanity and supports the Children’s Home and Aid Society, Southern Region through the Adopt-a-Family program.
Kathy Akers is Executive Administrator for Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Her primary focus is on corporate events, training coordination and corporate administrative responsibilities.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience as Practice Manager of a large physician practice, Kathy has a strong and successful background in patient satisfaction, staff organization and is a skilled team builder.
Kathy is a graduate of from St. Louis Community College at Forest Park with a degree as a Dental Clinician.
Corporate Communication Director
In her role as Corporate Communication Director, Mary Barber promotes Tiller-Hewitt’s thought leadership, best practices and results-driven solutions throughout the healthcare industry. Mary identifies industry trends and deploys engaging content to inform healthcare executives about the potential to drive their organizations’ growth based on Tiller-Hewitt Pillars: systems, data and people.
A member of Phi Beta Kappa Mary graduated summa cum laude Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Her work in healthcare marketing has been recognized by American Business Awards, Web Marketing Association and eHealthcare Leadership Awards.
Market Outreach Manager
Kristen Willoughby is Market Outreach Manager and Onboarding Specialist with Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies. Kristen brings a background in physician relations, sales, retail management and customer service to the Tiller-Hewitt team. Having held a previous role as a Physician Liaison, Kristen is able to apply her field of interests and expertise in servicing clients to implement and manage physician relations programs and onboarding and retention teams.
Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Science in finance from The University of Alabama.
Social Media Coordinator
As Social Media Coordinator, Angi leverages her experience and skills in sales and marketing, copywriting, event management and customer service including client-facing roles in a medical practice. Angi extends content and engages audiences with a wide range of topics related to physician-hospital relations through all social media and digital marketing channels. Social media outreach supports Tiller-Hewitt’s mission to share best practices and elevate the professional skills and strategic importance of the physician liaison. Angi obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Wilmington College in Ohio.
Regional Manager/Wellness Coach
Andrea Curless is currently the Regional Manager/Wellness Coach at Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Andrea’s primary focus is wellness coaching and on-site corporate health promotions.
Andrea draws on decades of experience in the area of health and wellness including sport fitness/exercise/health coaching. Andrea began her career in sales NordicTrack and has spent many years in corporate wellness as a wellness coach and worksite health promoter.
Andrea holds a degree in Liberal Arts and obtained her Fitness Professional Certificate from Pima College. She holds a certification from Aerobic Fitness Association of America in Personal Training, American Council of Exercise Certificate 2002 and her Yoga teacher training certificate.
William (Bill) Geoghegan
Bill Geoghegan is currently a Regional Manager at Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Bill’s primary focus is on developing and managing sales teams directly related to physician alignment for hospitals and health systems. He draws from over 30 years experience in developing and managing physician relations and sales teams.
Bill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
Kim Grant has over 25 years of business development, strategic marketing, sales and physician relations experience. Her focus with Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies is on developing and managing sales teams directly related to physician alignment/relations for hospitals and health systems.
Kim has a BA in marketing from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and an MA in Communications Technology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Melinda Krueger MSN, RN is currently a Regional Manager with Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Her primary role is PHR implementation and growth strategies for hospitals and health systems.
Melinda brings over 25 years of healthcare experience which includes critical care, trauma, rehab medicine and pharmaceuticals. Seven years included are directly involved in physician hospital relations.
Melinda obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Christina Carney, FACHE, is the Lean Advisor for Tiller Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Her primary focus is to utilize lean methods and practices for PHR program implementation and growth strategies for hospitals and health systems.
Christina draws from more than 20 years healthcare management experience in hospital and physician practice environments. Most recently, she has been in operational and service line administration, where she led organizational improvement activities for clinical and support departments across a 3 hospital system.
Christina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Christina has also earned the distinction of board certification in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Michelle Mudge-Riley DO, MHA, GCDF
Onboarding Physician Coach / Mentor
Michelle Mudge-Riley DO, MHA, GCDF is a physician executive and peer coach. Michelle serves Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies in the role of Strategic Partner and Onboarding Physician Coach / Mentor.
Her primary focus is to assist in physician onboarding to ensure that our clients consistently retain top tier talent through effective mentorship. She draws on her medical, business and professional development qualifications, which include more than 10 years mentoring and coaching other doctors through on-boarding and retention programs to assist physicians with change management and organizational engagement.
Michelle holds a medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School and her Masters Degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator through the Center for Credentialing and Education and the National Career Development Association.
Lead Data Engineer
Melissa is Lead Data Engineer for Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies, ensuring that the Data Team delivers the market intelligence and referral data insight required for strategic decisions and responsive action.
Melissa has been involved in hospital business development for more than 10 years, most recently in Physician Services for Dayton Children’s Hospital. There, she created and managed their successful physician onboarding program, ensuring that new physicians experienced timely ramp-up to productivity, professional mentorship and community engagement. Combined with her previous experience in physician-hospital relations and business development for Kettering Health Network, Melissa’s expertise is instrumental in executing Tiller-Hewitt’s physician-liaison, onboarding and retention programs.
Jamie Utt is the Data Engineer at Tiller-Hewitt HealthCare Strategies. Jamie’s primary focus is client report generation and data integrity. She began her information technology career in manufacturing and soon migrated to health care. Jamie brings over 10 years of information technology experience, seven years of health care experience and four years as a Physician Liaison and Physician Liaison trainer.
Jamie graduated cum laude from Western Kentucky University with Associate and Bachelor Degrees in Computer Information Systems. She was also selected for an internship with Disney World where she attended Disney University for customer service and professional development training.
