Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks - What I’ve Recently Learned from Physician Liaisons

Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks - What I’ve Recently Learned from Physician Liaisons

This year, we’ve had the privilege of spending more time than usual with awesome groups of physician liaisons and liaison teams!

We’ve been in the liaison business for over 2 decades and still one of the best parts of our job is learning new things from other liaisons.

What we know for certain is the old adage that “you can’t teach old dogs new tricks” only applies to the old dogs who think they know it all and don’t care or want to learn anything new!

Recently during a workshop, we heard a couple new things from liaisons we’d like to share.

The moral of my story:
► We’re either Green and Growing or Ripe and Rotting
► Getting Back to the Basics applies to everyone – even YOU!
► When we stop learning we start dying (Einstein)
► Don’t be a know-it-all – No one likes a know-it-all – Instead, be someone committed to constantly learning and improving – driving up your value to your customers, your organization, and your results.

Green looks good on you!
